Of course I've got no expertise here--I'm just kibitzing.
But I'm a pretty well-informed layperson on the subject, FWTW.
That having been said yet again: this seems pretty much exactly right to me.
The right tried outright, uncompromising denial for quite some time.
The left, of course, has passionately embraced climate apocalypticism.
The truth, so far as I can ascertain it, is in the middle in this case.
This DoE report sounds like it's on the mark...so far as I can tell, anyway.
