I'm glad Trump is going after people like Letitia James who abuse public office to advance partisan political projects. I'd be happy for everyone at the forefront of the Democrats' rotten lawfare campaign to end up in jail, actually. James, Bragg, "E." Jean Carroll...I'd be happy to see them wrecked.
Well..Carroll is crazy...so...I suppose she deserves a bit of leniency...
But Bolton--for all his flaws--isn't like those others.
And I don't see that his infelicities warrant this kind of treatment.
Trump's doing a great job in many ways. And going after e.g. James is, IMO, merely fighting fire with fire. In a cool hour, I'm ambivalent about it. But I do favor the general strategy. And the Democrats won't stop unless/until they are on the receiving end of it.
But Trump just seems to have a broken regulator when it comes to such things.
Somebody needs to throttle him back before he queers the whole deal.
