Few people are really even paying attention.

And, among those who are--especially blue-teamers--mostly they're just listening to the sounds of the words.

Or so it seems to me.

This is just the way of political discussion. There's basically a pyramid. Most people pay no attention. Those few who are paying attention attend mostly to superficial aspects of the discussion. Few understand much.

E.g. I spend way, way too much time reading this kind of stuff...and on most topics, I understand almost nothing.
