I mean: "call for" is maybe an exaggeration. Probably more like he was just bullshitting with a sympathetic audience and got caught up in the moment. He said it--but that's not exactly "calling for" it. But a prominent former general shouldn't even be saying it. WTF is wrong with everybody?
