   Progressives will get a little frisson of excitement at this new requirement they can impose upon themselves.

   One of the biggest differences between the two sides is the common sense gap. I think some of it is explained by the lefties' love of novelty--novelty often being stupid. I imagine lefty couples all over the country thrilling at the prospect of a bit of even-more-politically-correct shagging...perhaps even agreeing to only onanism for the duration...for the greater good...
