It shouldn't matter all that much, since it's clear that the view is incoherent, ergo not true. But, as I've noted before: not even all "transgender" people think that they become the opposite sex (or gender, whatever that means) when they "transition."
Here's a guy who considers himself a "transwoman," but acknowledges that he's not actually female, ergo not actually a woman. He's not the only such person to acknowledge/admit this.
