Word. I really couldn't agree more about that. It's really only with respect to the PC stuff that I tend to have a not-terribly-high opinion of the guy.
He presses my limits on the PC stuff also. It just shows that even people who can think critically on issues tend to turn off that part of their mind/personality on certain topics.
Please ignore earlier comment (or delete), figured it out now (nice summary on Pharyngula). My opinion...what a waste of time and energy.

PZ goes a bit far out on these issues, I don't agree with him a lot of the time. However, he's sharp when it comes to the science/creationism debate.
