Lots of points to check, but worth a read.

Similarities between Abu Graib torture techniques and torture techniques we know were approved by the Bush/Cheney administration is evidence that the abuses at Abu Graib were also approved by that administration. I am unconvinced that the administration approved the torture at Abu Graib, but similarity in torture methods would certainly be some be evidence for the claim.
