I've been thinking the same thing myself, of course.

Of course it's much worse that Thomas Sowell thinks it. 

I sure hope I'm crazy or stupid or blinded by dogmatism. Unfortunately, I doubt that Sowell is.

On the bright side, I tend to be skeptical of tipping point arguments. OTOH: the next president will appoint at least two of the Supremes.
