NYT Goes To Hilarious Lengths To Avoid Using The Words 'Spy', 'Spying' With Respect to Investigation Of Trump Campaign

It was, you see, a "cloaked investigation" by "cloaked investigators"...
Anybody out there still think the NYT is even vaguely objective about all this?

    I'm not understanding the outrage here. Given all the intelligence reports that indicated Russia was working to tilt the election in favor of Trump, and that members of the Trump campaign were meeting with Russians, what were they supposed to do?
