At first, I thought the song was being sung from the perspective of a stalker who would murder the object of his obsession as part of some sort of psychotic death-based fantasy. Though I admit that's often my initial reaction to emo in general, this was based at least partly on the lyrics specific to this song.. I mean, how else would he know his love would die first?
Probably has something to do with closely following her into the dark...
And then when they're dead, they won't go to heaven or hell, but the blackest of rooms where they can hold each other forever!

Kinda reminds me of that post you put up regarding that person who wanted to kill herself so she might wake up in Avatar's Pandora, though you seemed more critical of that death fantasy for some reason...
