Special shout-outs to farmers who routinely feed their livestock antibiotic-laced food to speed its growth and patients who demand antibiotics when they have viruses.
I for one am hoping that Phage technology works out, so we can fight infection with a treatment that itself evolves countermeasures to bacterial resistance. I don't know enough about microbiology to be sure, but hopefully bacteria are different enough to eukaryotes that phages won't mutate the ability to infect humans.
